Welcome!
My name is Margaretha Madoures. I am a psychologist and relaxation therapist based in Helsinki.
Born in Germany to a Greek father and a German mother I developed a deep understanding of the difficulties living in another country can bring with it.
I completed a Bachelor’s in Psychology and Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology in the Netherlands and moved to Finland in the Autumn of 2015.
My passion is your well-being. I regularly work with international clients from a variety of backgrounds. Most of my experience lays in the work with Expats and young professionals who are struggling with stress, self-organization and adjustments to change. Time management and self-organizations, boundary setting, sleep issues and self-care prioritization often lay in the center of my interventions. I enjoy teaching my clients how to take back control and strive towards a live that they are excited about.
My working languages are English and German.

Currently (February – April 2022), I and other members of PPF ry are involved in a project funded by Moniheli ry and Diak that aims to improve the understanding of how to access mental health services of non-Finnish speaking residents in the Helsinki area.
Consultant for preventive mental health support at Auntie Solutions
(2019 – present)
Auntie offers clients different packages that focus on specific mental health problems, through which clients actively work on decreasing psychological distress. This is achieved by teaching the client new skills to better cope with their struggles. Some examples of packages are “Stressed Out”, which focuses on regulating and preventing stress, “Sleepless in Seattle”, which teaches clients different approaches to dealing with sleeping difficulties and many more. Participating in the sessions is a great way to tackle psychological issues, before they become a real problem.
